Honestly, the bronzer makes it look like you have a whole lot of redness going on in the cheek areas. I don't mean to sound rude at all.

Thanks tori! And it's fine Renay! It looks like that because I'm also not wearing foundation/concealer and my cheeks are naturally red. I was just playing around with contouring!

I don't think you should use bronzer to contour because it's too orangey and warm toned. You should use either a darker concealer, foundation, or powder or like Tori said a specialized contour palette

I've seen a lot of people using hoola to contour so that's why I tried it. @alyssa do you have any contour powders you recommend?

I like Sleek Contour Palette it comes in 3 shades: light, medium, and dark. The only downside is that you have to order it online because it is a British company. But they are cheap it's only about $9. But you can use any drugstore powder (that is not bronzer) that is darker than your skin tone. I just steal my mom's foundation to use because she's darker than me and it works just fine :) I didn't know if you had a certain budget so I just mentioned cheap alternatives

Thanks em I'll have to look into contouring for my face shape! I just did the basic contouring I've seen in so many youtube videos lol!

Honestly, that bronzer is completely matte and it's very neutral toned. Just learn how to blend it out and you'll be fine :)

Try using the NYX powder blush in taupe...it's a perfect colour. Make sure to blend the on your cheekbone going up around you face. Sometimes when people contour it looks like they have a line on their face and they don't blend it upward around the edge of the face.

Mara...if you wanted to try contouring for your face shape like Em suggested you should check out the blog 'Maskcara'. She's got a whole post for each face shape and in general her HAC posts are the best. Good luck! 😘
