So...honestly in college as long as you're comfortable no one cares. Trust me on this. Do whatever makeup you can easily do in 10 minutes, and if you have more than 10, do whatever. In terms of clothing: leggings. Just leggings. Leggings and dresses are two things that require literally no effort, and you can throw on in 2 minutes if you're running late. Plus with dresses it looks like you've tried. Aside from that, again, whatever makes you comfortable.

Lol I can give all tons of tips for how not to be late because of hair/makeup/clothing, but personal style is a whole different matter. Like I said, college should be the time when you dress however you want, because you like it :) if you want to be a weirdo like me, and wake up an hour and thirty minutes before class so you can do crazy makeup, that's all you!

Ohhh man, I can just see it! Yeah, I'm going to be a junior, and I basically live in jean shorts and t shirts with high top sneakers and wild makeup no matter what's happening around me. There are totally girls on my campus who wear heels and lots of gold jewelry and look really fancy like all the time...college is a strange place.

Oh, and no problem. Where are you going, if you don't mind me asking?

I know...we didn't really answer your questions lol. Em, I go to school in Miami so fortunately I don't have to worry about crazy chicks like that, BUT, it's totally hilarious to watch everyone flip out if the temperature drops below 70 :)

Rainboots are a must!!
take it from someone who's had to wear skimpy shoes in the rain on more than one occasion: (
but yeah, college is chill. no one cares what you wear lol. Do you: )

I second the rain boots, even though I hate them and refuse to own a pair. I ruined my favorite sneakers walking in a downpour. Have at least one pair of shoes that you don't care if they get rained on, whether that's rain boots or something else.

I'm kind of obsessed with rain bot at the moment so maybe I'll finally get use out of them! & Hannah I'm going to NC state.

I actually disagree. It depends on your college. Have you taken a tour there? Personally at my school, no one would be caught dead on anything that's just comfortable. Girls wear heels, dresses, boots, skirts, and are always well put together. You'd be looked at weird if you were just wearing jeans and a t-shirt, let alone sweatpants.
I'd have lots of pairs of jeans, nice tops that you feel comfortable in, and some cute flats or sneakers. Also dresses are cute early or late in the yeAr.
For hair, you could try side braids or French braids, half up half down, or just down and wavy. Check YouTube for ideas too, I always find good stuff there!

Emily, I think that was Hannah's point. You're in college; you should use your freedom to explore your own style and preferences. I'd rather be looked at weird and feel good about what I'm wearing than look flawless and feel like crap. You are not obligated to dress a certain way just because other people are doing it.
I'm in full time dance training; most of the time that I'm in public or on campus I'm gross and sweaty and wearing sweatpants. And you know what? It doesn't matter. I'm enjoying my life, and no one's opinion of me can take away from my happiness or worth as a person. I agree that there is a time and place to look presentable, but college classes aren't it! Lilly, like Hannah said, if you want to go the extra mile, go for it. But don't feel like you absoluely have to dress up just to sit in class all day.

Or try out new things! My friends and I love trying new looks on each other and were all so different, it's interesting to see how we differ in makeup taste. You'll have a great experience! It's one of the most fun times of your life 😊

On my campus almost everyone wears workout clothes lol._." another common thing is wearing tshirts, high waisted skater style skirts and toms. most of the time I just wear denim shorts and a tshirt but I'm going to try to be a little more expressive this year. ^_^
