What your guys thoughts on The Beauty Blender Sponge? I recently purchased it and I was wondering your opinions. Do you guys prefer a brush or the beauty blender?

I have the real techniques version of the beauty blender and I think it works really well. It's easier than a brush and it feels nice on your skin.

I prefer a beauty blender because I think it looks more natural :)

I broke down and bought one because of the hype and that was after trying other knock off sponges. I have tried it so many ways as far as application along with different foundations as well I just don't understand why everyone likes it so much. I looked on youtube and tons of blogs to see if I was just using it wrong but I just don't like it still. I so badly want to because I spent the money for a sponge but I prefer brushes any day. I use the Sephora Pro Airbrush #56 and I love the way it makes my makeup look. I will say that I do like using the Beauty Blender for contouring but thats it...

I hated the BB, it did nothing for me.

Gives a great airbrushed finish to your foundation! I have one of the cheap $3 dupes and it works exactly the same as the original!

Couldnt live without it. I've went through about 3 so far haha don't let that scare you :) I just use mine everyday and after awhile I just feel the need to replace it.

I love it...however I got mine from Forever21 for 10 dollars. But I love how it gives a flawless face an almost airbrush look. I imagine the original is better {obviously}. But I love it:)

Waaaay overpriced for what it is! I know I'm very alone in my opinion but I purchased a dupe while I tried to convince myself to buy the real thing. Once I did I thought it was going to be an amazing sponge when it actually preformed exactly like the dupe! It is NOT at all worth the hype. The only thing that ever made it special was the shape, which other companies have easily replicated. In the end I was disappointed... I have it to my cousin and went back to using my trusty old brush! I feel my brushes are dependable, easy to use, and never disappoint! I do regret ever trying the BB!

I can agree with the over-priced comments, but if you're really curious then give it a shot. I have one of my own and I absolutely love it. Sometimes we can get a little heavy handed with some products and the beauty blender gives you enough product and basically soaks up the rest that you don't need giving you that skin-like natural finish. I like it.
