Philosophy: Original or Oil?!

Is there really a big difference on how they both remove makeup? I currently use the original creamish cleansing ace wash. Today at my Ulta the Face Oil says it removes makeup as well but it's 2$ more is it better? Or is it just preference?

Let me know your thoughts if you have tried the oil version or both!
