So for a while I've been using St. Ives apricot scrub, as of recently I've found out that using this scrub causes micro tears in the skin. Is there anyway to reverse the damage I may have unknowingly caused? And can you all recommend any good exfoliating scrubs. Thanks in advance.

Oh, you saw what I said in that other thread! Lol sometimes I forget other people actually read what I say.

And I would ask Traci L. she's the one that enlightened me about it. And she's a licensed esthetician. You can also just "cheat" like I do sometimes. Type in the subject of the thread, the name of the beautylisher you want to know an answer from, and Beautylish in the google search box.

Or just beautylish and exfoliating scrubs. I like to search previous threads first to see if that person already answered it and if I can find additional knowledge

*Don't you like how I gave advice on everything but the question? Lol 😝

Aha thank you so much Symone and M G, for your quick responses! I've actually been researching this for a while now because of previous beautylish posts but your reply definitely prompted me to start this thread😁. I will definitely ask Traci L. For advice! Thanks again!😊

I've heard this too about the face wash but omg I love it.!! It leaves me feeling fresh &&' clean &&' if &&' when I break out it clears it right up. It is honestly one of my go to exfoliating face scrubs, I know everyone has different opinions.

I don't know if this one is bad for you but the seaweed exfoliater from the body shop feels like it really cleans my skin like the st Ives one but isn't as harsh. Looks like this

For scrubs I've been using the alba hawaiian facial scrub which I've been loving so much! I don't know if I'm having a good face week or something but I started using this and it's really working for me. It makes my skin look so refreshed non dull. If you have really sensitive skin it probably not the best for you but if you have normal combo skin you might like it. I'm not going to say it's the best since I haven't used everything out there and I've read and heard multiple times the best exfoliating products are the ones you leave on the skin but it's pretty good imo.

I agree on the seaweed line from the body shop. They also have one with beads in it that's really nice for a weekly basis.

For daily scrubbing I use this though. With any cleanser, I never get dry patches anymore and no more dead skin since I've been using it. It's super gentle too, and I've noticed my skin getting clearer. It's smaller than your palm and feels so good on the skin. :) plus it's only 6$ and turns any gentle cleanser into a gentle exfoliator.

I started using St. Ives because I found out that microbeads in other scrubs are actually a bad pollutant for the environment (I always thought the beads were dissolvable but turns out they're straight up plastic). But I fell in love with St. Ives because it leaves my face incredibly smooth.

Dermalogica daily microfoliant or the skin prep scrub are amazing
