Hey girls, so I'm going to a photo shoot tomorrow and I need my skin to look good. Yesterday and today I've been dealing with some pretty bad flaking, dry skin around my mouth and chin (of course, right before something important!!). What can I do to get rid of it? What type of exfoliation and/or moisturizing treatment do you recommend (preferably something DIY around my house that won't also break me out)? Thanks a bunch!! 😊😊

I like the Aveeno ultra calming moisturizer!! It's amazing for dry flakey skin {as I have it}

Maybe you could use lotion or extra virgin olive oil I used both of them together once and it worked great!

Careful with regular lotion as it can create breakouts!! & make sure you don't apply to much oil or it may make your skin feel greasy and oily!!

For flaking skin in the future since I don't think you'll have it at home, try this thing. It's helped so much with my dry flakey skin. :) other than that, I'd just suggest gently exfoliating (I personally like ground up oatmeal masks) and then put a moisturizer that doesn't break you out on top. :)

Ah, thanks girls for your quick responses!! I actually did have oatmeal at home so I did a scrub/mask of oatmeal and Greek yogurt and then after put on my usual moisturizer with a little heavier one on only the affected areas. My skin feels/looks better already!! Thanks for all your help :)

Put a layer of honey on for twenty to thirty minutes...magic!!🎆 It's a humectant, will draw moisture from the air, sooth, remove inflammation, zap zits and leave your beautiful face baby soft!😘💕
