So unfortunately today I forgot to put on sunscreen and got a very bad sunburn as a result. Normally it would not be that big of a deal except my senior pictures are tomorrow and my face, chest, arms and neck are all bright red. Besides using aloe vera, does anyone have any good tips on how to make my sunburn recede/fade? If not, any good tips on how to cover it? Thanks so much!

Using a good moisturiser can help your skin get back the moisture your skin lost :-)

I don't know the brand but I use a moisturizer that has aloe Vera and some other natural oils! Try looking for something like that at a local drugstore!(:

Cucumbers. I think green tea, too.

Take a cool bath before you apply anything on your skin!! You can add milk to the bath as well if you would like to to soothe the skin but you want to be sure that the heat is out of your body otherwise you will trap it in slowing down the healing process. A nice oatmeal and aloe Vera mask is nice, leave it on your skin for 30 minutes or so to soothe the burn and tone down redness

Ugh that sucks. Black tea can help too; brew a pot and let it cool, then apply it as a compress to the burn. The tannins in the tea sooth the stinging and the caffeine reduces inflammation.
My graduation practice was outdoors in the blazing sun, and I ended up with a third degree sunburn for the ceremony. I used Hard Candy Glamouflage as foundation to cover the burn because it was so thick. Looked like a mask in person but was great in my photos.

Have a cold bath the night before and put plenty of E45 cream on your burnt areas and get some sleep, it usually works for me<3.

I got burnt recently & really badly. Take a nice cold shower. Then put Aloe Vera gel or anything that's Aloe Vera. Use that daily. I also used Benadryl stop itching gel. I bought it for bug bites but it also works for sunburns. When it starts to peel, be sure to lotion up those area. You will itch like crazy. When it itches, take a hot shower. As hot as you can stand. It works! I hope this helps.

After sun works so well, I got terrible sun burn and was applying it every few minutes but it helps definitely. Try and stay cool, and drink lots of water. I've heard that cucumbers work wonders but I've never tried them myself.
