Sometimes when I come back from work I am so exhausted I just fall on my bed and go to sleep. I don't weR much makeup, except some BB cream. Is it really bad to go to sleep with it? I rationalize by telling myself that's it's therapeutic, unlike foundation and so it's not bad. What does skin science say?

You can, but I wouldn't recommend it. But I'd just get some makeup removing wipes if you're tired.

I think it's still the same as wearing foundation to bed, it's always best to just remove it, your skin will feel much better when you don't sleep in it apposed to when it's on your skin all night. I'd buy some makeup removing wipes and use those quickly before you sleep :)

Usually Bb creams have anSpf in it. ANY spf can cause blockage in pores. I'd advise you to take it before you fall asleep.

I agree with everyone. Don't do it. I've learned the hard way by leaving make up on and always get breakouts. I leave the Neutrogena wipes on my nightstand from now on.

Agree , you should take some wipes and wipe it off. Even though it clogs pores , you also want your face to breath.

I wouldn't recommend sleeping with any makeup on even a lightweight one.

I agree with everyone. It's really bad. There is dirt, pollutants, microbes and all kinds of junk that adhere to the cream throughout the day, you don't want to leave that on your skin and pillow. Even if you go without makeup, you should still at least wipe your face off before bed because your pores and skin will collect that stuff throughout the day regardless of makeup. In the long run it will accelerate the aging process. I regret not being more faithful to a facial cleansing routine when I was in my late teens and early twenties.

Thanks so much guys for that unanimous NO. I will keep wipes next to me bed and try to make that the first thing I do once I get home. And yes, I guess this is the reason my skin was so congested. And today I am facing thee brunt of this terrible habit.
