So I got my first sew in and I was wondering how I should maintain it and my real hair. and also what are some products I should and shouldn't put on the weave. and why is it shedding so much? also how do I keep the tracks from showing.

If you go on YT there are a ton of videos.

I had weave once and I just brushed it from the ends to the roots with a denman brush. I only washed it 2 times in a 3 month time span.

As far as for my hair, I cleaned it through the sew in with an applicator bottle to make it easier to clean

1: Keep it wrapped up. When you sleep it will of course frizz up and you don't want that. When your in the shower be sure to keep it wrapped up too because it can stink.

2: For your hair and your weave be sure when you wake up in the morning unwrap your hair and use a hair spray JUST for Sew ins. Be sure to part your weave and be sure to put OIL in it. Grease won't help because it requires you to put your hand through the net or strings. So melt some Shea Butter or use a spray.

3:Some sheds some don't so in the morning or after your shower , brush your hair so you won't have to go through all that.

4:When you have sew ins your tracks should NEVER show.If it shows That mean WHOEVER put that hair in did it all wrong. Tracks should never show. so if I were you I would go buy the same hair and go back to the stylist and tell her to cover up the tracks.

That's all I have for you. Also here is a good note: For the tracks showing put a Headband or something to cover it up.
