Round Flat Brush:
I've seen MANY MANY Beauty Gurgu's apply their foundation with a round flat brush, whether it's from MAC, SedonaLace or ELF. I've noticed that it gives them that perfect flawless look, but is it really the brush that mostly gives the credit? Don't get me wrong, I have the Revlon Colorstay Foundation, but I feel like I don't get the beautiful after look like the other girls that use it with a round flat brush.
Flat Brush:
I feel like the product stays all in the brush and you can see the lines left by the foundation then I have to blend it out with my fingers as if putting on lotion. I really don't like using my fingers.
IKNOW THERE'S A DIFFERENCE IN THE BRUSHES! lol I would GLADLY hear out your opinions!!:)

Depends on the foundation your using, I find a more runny foundation works better with a round flat brush more a foundation like makeup-forever HD foundation works best with a flat one, try with both and see which look u like better :)

I have Revlon ColorStay, UD Naked and MUFE HD and to be honest the flawless finish is all about technique. Some people work different brushes better. A rule of thumb for me is that the heavier the foundation (full covrg) I tend to apply and smooth it in with my finger to warm the product so that it soaks in to my skin but i ALWAYS use a stifling or Round Kabuki brush to finish it off. I feel like the bristles help create the "airbrush" finish you are talking about. So yes the brush matters but the technique is even more important. I have a round kabuki brush from sephora and the Urban Decay brush that you purchase for Naked and I love them!

I dot my revlon color stay on with my fingers and then use a stippling brush to distribute it all over my face using a stippling motion then I do light small circles to buff it in...this works wonderfully for me...but different things work for different people
