I was just wondering because my daughter her face is really dry and she has dry patches and it burns to put anything on them! Is aquaphor good? Or anything else to heal it?

If her skin is sensitive while being dry, use a non-volatile oil like Jojoba, Argan Oil or Squalane oil to help. No products on it or it'll just give her sensitivity.
Once she can handle products on her skin you can go ahead and apply a sealant like Aquaphor to keep the moisture from leaving.
No scrubs for her skin, especially not if shes having skin sensitivity issues. That's just going to leave her skin raw and irritated.

If she is young, disreguard above, and bring her to a doctor.. don't try and treat at home. The most I'd do is a aveno lotion twice daily.

Bumpy drt patches could be keratosis polarsis, roseca, eczema, infections, and a bunch of other conditions... no exfoliation, no peels, no oils... just sooth... intil you can see a doctor. The oat, avena sativa, and beta glucan in avena will help.

Where are patches? Are they inflammed? What cooor bumps? How old is she? Does she have similar bumbs on arms or thighs?

I agree with Amy. I'd take her to the doctor instead of trying things that'll further harm her skin. I would also stop exfoliating the areas!

Amy. Shes 16. And she just ate fish and drank a lot of water and its clearing up!! But, its like skin colored beige.. Pink patches inflammed yes and no bumps on arms or legs just cheeks

I get patches like that sometimes. I use cerave moisturizing creak but it can burn if my skin is too sore, like red and shiny. when I get dry patches it really helps. avoid over exfoliting as it can make it worse.

I use a finger glob of vitamin e oil on my skin. I also get the dry patches. I've been using Burt's bees face wash as well and this has truly helped with the dryness I suffer from as well. It has chamomile in it and it is amazing!

Yeah, I'd get it looked at... you never know... the aveno should sooth it, but incase its a rash, reaction, or condition... get it looked at...
