Hi everyone, so my oily skin is becoming a serious problem. I feel like I have to wash my face every 10 minutes because its so shiny and gross! but does washing it often make it more oily? Are there any products for sensitive skin out there anyone can recommend? thanks :)

After you wash do you use a toner and moiusturize? a good toner with witchhazel should help also avenno daily moisturizer helps reduce oilyness since it acts as a barrier.

Over washing is probably making you more oily... Don't try to strip the oils with water - that will only make it worse - instead moisturize your skin and give it the oils it wants so that it will not feel the need to produce as much oil - you can moisturize with jojoba oil or some other moisturizing oil at night and by day always use an SPF moisturizer and this should help after about a month of doing this - otherwise use blotting sheets to touch up throughout the day and/or use a blotting powder to absorb excess oils.

You could try the oil control line from Cetaphil. They have a face wash and moisturize that help control oil production. I also agree with the other ladies on using a good toner :)

You only need to
wash your face twice a day your skin will react to being to dry and produce a over abundant amount of oil ,just try using s gentle cleanser like cerave tone with a Alcohol free toner and moisturize with cerave moisturizer you can use there Am for the daytime and Pm for night if your not afraid to use oil on your face try jojoba oil like Diana suggested it mimics your own natural lipids so it can kind of tricks your skin into not producing as much oil

Mimi C. I use Elf primer to minimize that shiny look. Most of the time I wear it alone on top of a spf moisturizer...and its only 3 bucks!:)

I have a super oily t-zone!! I discovered something that actually helps me through this hot/super oily summer days.
Clinique super primer the peachy one. It's supposed to help with redness. It doesn't lol! But it's texture makes it ideal to hide oil on my nose and forehead. It's really weird. My t-zone IS oily, but it looks mate. Give it a try. It's a bit pricy but a little goes a long way.
