Today is the last day before the holidays ill have time to color my hair. Its a three step process. First blonde then pink and black for the finish.
I'm using Ion products from their Creme line. LOVE the bleach. It has 2 parts argon oil so the blonde hair is silky soft after bleaching it out.
The black is okay. Nice jet black color for a month or so then fades to dark brown. The box clearly says permanent. But its not.
Then the magenta. Ah where to start? I have a love/hate relationship with this product. First off, the color is amazing. Nice bold deep hot pink. And the pink lasts. Ive had it go 10 weeks and it was still hot pink when I went to do a touch up. The down side, The color is THICK its like working with jello. After many trial and errors, Ive found adding just a touch of developer makes it more creamy.
Ill post pictures when I'm all finished.

I know what you mean on the Ion Color Brights(Brilliance?) it smells like straight up dye, not like other brands, and the texture is way too thick, i like unnatural dyes cause theyre creamy, but i think in terms of longevity, the ion is great lol.

Yes the color brights! I guess I was out of the magenta and had to go with Beyond the zone in hot pink. I don't like this one as much but I can always run and get more later on today if I have to.
