What's the best temporary hair dye that won't completely and totally destroy my hair? I know all hair dye will damage your hair so don't try to lecture me on that please :)

A lilac purple or light pinkish colour or possibly and baby blue, something unnatural :p.

Are you leaning towards vegan dyes or the little box ones that you buy at like woolworths and say "5-30" washes? You're Australian right? I use paintbox dyes to get my pastel colours, you can get them at priceline and a little tube will go a long way if you were going for pastels, I just mix mine with conditioner :)

Shaye m, whatever works. I'm not a vegan but I'm willing to use vegan dyes if they are better. just which ever works the best as I would like it to stay for around 20 or so washes :)

Vegan dye just means it has no damaging effects to your hair, at all. They literally can't damage your hair because they're made out of organic stuff instead of ammonia, etc. I'm not vegan either haha :p they're just better for semi permanent dying if you want unnatural colours.

They actually renamed it, it's the same dye as in the picture I showed you :) so pink flamingo, my hair usually comes out the same colour As that picture you posted, depending on how long your hair is you'll only need like 2/5 drops. My hair is just passed my shoulders and will usually come out that pink shade when I use about 3 drops, so you don't have to use much dye which means it lasts a while for when you want to touch it up. Also, as for conditioner, I just use as much as I think I'll need for my hair, it makes a base for your dye so really as much as you need for your hair length to cover it all. :)

Manic panic :) depending on your hair color, it can even condition your hair. RAW is pretty good, as is Ion. I think you can buy all of these brands at Sally :) they all fade into pretty colors as well!
