Placing streaks in hair.

I want to add some purple streaks to my hair and was wondering if anyone had tips for the placement of them? I want them peekaboo-ish but don't know how to part my hair.

Make sure not to do the top layer of hair, because then you'll have to dye your roots constantly! Other than that, I had mine done professionally the first time around so I could get them placed right.

I have brown hair and I put some black in it and I just used a rat take comb put the dye on the comb and brushed it through it worked really well

If you're doing your bangs part them in two sections, dye ONLY the bottom section. As for the rest of the head just part off the top part of your head.

If you want some framing your face, then yeah, do random sections under the top layer of hair. Here is a picture of my hair. I have 5 streaks. One in the bangs, two framing my face and two underneath in the back to even out the look. Hopefully you can see it!
