I think either go super short (pixie cut- it would look GORGEOUS on you!) or keep it long. That middle ground shoulder length is okay, but in my opinion you should choose an extreme.

Do it! Trust me short hair is great! I have a pixie right now but I've had probably every length of hair imaginable and by far the easiest to take care and what I loved the most was when it was bobbed, angle bobbed and in a shorter style! Hair always grows back so even if you don't like it you'll can have your long hair back with just a little patience! Go for it!

I agree with breeze saying that one of the extremes would look lovely on you! And if you consider a pixie you might be able to do are your hair which is always a plus!

I was just having that same problem and so what I did was I got like 4 or 5 inches off and that put my hair a couple inches below my shoulders and I love it!

Omg noo,your hair is so long and its beautiful on you,but if you really want a change,I would say cut it,it does grow back:)
