I think bronzers by nature are shimmery & have more of an orangy undertone. it sounds like you're looking for a contour powder. they have no shimmer & have a cooler undertone. the Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder is really really good.

O really like the piz buin bronzer, it looks so natural and it's very easy do apply. But you have to see, there's a lot of types, ones cheaper than others

Mulani has a nice bronzer. It comes with a lighter, shimmer shade and a darker shade, conpletely matte!

I've been using NYC bronzer in 'sunny' ,it doesn't have a shimmer and works well.. Neutrogena has a great bronzer as well.

I had the same problem and then I just got a powder darker than my skin tone. I got true match powder in honey beige neutral. its good because you can pick your undertone and its matte.

Too faced chocolate soleil bronzer are matte and come in a few shades and benefit hoola which I love it's not too orangey and I can contour with it too x
