I love using "Ceramol olio detergente viso-corpo". Only thing is, you can find it in Italy and Germany only... The texture is similar to the Cetaphil cleanser, but without the "burning" sensation ( it's like a hot/warm sensation rather than actual BURNING, I get that with Cetaphil).
People here rave about the CeraVe one, maybe you should give it a try!
For DIY, I would suggest an oatmeal mask: crush some rolled oats, add water to form a paste, apply to irritated/red areas or to your whole face. Let dry and wash off. Oatmeal is really amazing with irritated skin.
