I'm doing a red ombre with semi permanent dye. Will I need to do a test patch even though it's not going near my scalp? This is the dye I'm using...

Yes you should always do a test patch with any new dye to make sure you are not allergic or have any bad reactions to the product.

Always do a test patch or strand test. It ensures there's no allergic reactions and that your hair will actually take the dye.
