DON't USE ALCOHOL. You are supposed to use saline. 1/8th tsp NOT iodized salt to 1 cup of warm water.

Alcohol will dry out the piercing and do more damage than good.

Looks great on you! When I went with my girlfriend to get hers done the piercer said to use Bactine to clean it a couple times a day and to do a sea salt soak once a day for 5-10 minutes.

Firstly you DO NOT use a sea salt mixture unless it is infected, if you do it will dry the piercing out due to the salt and cause more pain and problems. Every piercer around where I live suggests the purple Spectro gel which has worked for all of my piercings very well.

H2ocean is what is recommended for every piercing I have. It's a salt water rinse it just cleans it. It doesn't dry it out at all and doesn't make it infected. It actually helped my cartilage get uninfected it got infected using alcohol to clean it so. H2ocean is amazing

I was recommended sea salt soaks and cleaning with saline for every piercing I've gotten. It's not just for when it's infected.
