My children are biracial (Puerto Rican and African-Americn) and I find I have to use products that are geared towards moisture. Their hair is fine, but have an. Intense curl pattern that can easily become frizzy. With that being said, I use a lot of Giovanni and natural hair care products like Miss Jessie, Mixed Chicks, and Carol's Daughter. They provide the needed ingredients to properly cleanse their hair, but also offer products that will tame and manage the curl patterns or coarser areas.

I am mixed, black, frenchcandian, and Mexican, and I have a 3c , 4A curl pattern. I use Shea moistures coconut and hibiscus curl enhancing smoothie, and it's so awesome for my hair because it holds my curls while keeping them soft and defined, as well as frizz free. I also love the cantu Shea butter leave in conditioner which I use before I apply my curl smoothie, because it just adds that extra moisture that my hair really needs!
