Note: my hair is VERY hard to deal with VERY HARD!! It's very thick, frizzy shoulder length and kinda dead. I'm attaching a picture

I'd just trim off the dead hair & maybe get some layers. for frizz, I recommend using coconut oil. my hair is long, thick, & curly & I used to have bad frizz until I started to put coconut oil in my hair after taking a shower :)

No, not unless you put a lot in it lol. it helps keep your hair moisturized. you can also use coconut oil as a mask. to do that, you can leave it in your hair overnight or a couple hours (whatever you want) then wash it out.
