I am in the market for a new, real flat iron. Ironically I was checking out NuMe months back while it was ar full price and today Hautelook had it for $89.00.
I bought the Megastar flat iron. Has anyone have any experiences with NuMe?
Does it do a good job with hair?
Do they last long?

Before I went heat free the only heat tools I used were from NuMe! I had 3 curlers, a bang straightener, and a large thick straightener. I never ha fancy problems. It took only one pass in my hair to get it to lay straight, took only a little hairspray to hold, and the effect easily lasted all day without random flyaways and pieces sticking up. The irons themselves are very durable and of a good quality. I've been heat free for about 3 years now and before that I had owned my NuMe irons for about 3. Right now they are about 6 years old and I lend them out to friends. They all say that even after almost daily use, the iron still performs the way it did when I bought it brand new!
Overall, if you use heat a lot the NuMe tools are a great investment.

Thank you Kendra, its my first good buy. Normally I get $20-30 hair tools but they tend to disappoint after a bit. I cannot wait to try out my iron. Any tips for maintaince or hair prep?

I always made sure to wipe of the iron after each use just in case of product residue since I used (and still do) a lot of styling products and dry shampoo. I also always kept my irons and curlers in the box or bag that they came in to protect from damage. Also, use the glove they give you. The tools get SO hot! I was convinced I'd be ok without it... But... I was not. They burn your hands so easily. And beyond that use really good quality heat protectant! :) hope you enjoy he iron! While I used heat I really loved my heat tools! :D.
