Hair dye help!

Hey guys!

My hair is brown but I have been dyeing the underside black for awhile but recently found it bleeding into my pillow
The first brand I used didn't do this and the ends are still black from it (I dyed it at the roots over a year ago it has grown out a lot)
I used a new brand this time though and the color faded back to almost my original brown and bleeds all over my pillows when I wash my hair (I have white pillow cases)

Basically what I'm asking is for suggestions for really good black or midnight blue black hair colors

Price doesn't matter as long as it's under 35$
Pictures would be a big help!

It said it was permanent! It was a box dye at the super market.

I believe that was the first dye I used!! Maybe it's best to stick with that brand because my hair takes to it so well.
