Curl one piece outwards and the next inwards, keep alternating.. This should not roll them together.

Curl is all different directions so the strand don't all join together also running your fingers through a bit the strand that clings helps :D

Run your fingers through it to seperate the curls. that how I do it... it should work, you can always use hairspray.

Have you tried using a wand curling iron...then doing the curls like the girls said in opposite directions.

I'm sorry I need to be more specific the one I use is the UCurl by Conair...I mean there's a bunch out there I personally love that one cause I control how big I want curls and how tight.
