I need some back to school makeup for 5th grade. I have terrible skin and I cannot not find a foundation or powder that doesn't look cakey.

5th grade?? are you serious? my daughter is in that grade and there's noo way iwould let her wear make up I mean seriously your still in elementary school...what does your mom say about that?

I'm not 100% sure what age 5th grade is, but it's always a good idea to start with skin care when you're young :)

Personally speaking, you shouldn't wear foundation in 5th grade. You are young and I'd recommend you just moisturize and take good care of your skin. There's no reason to wear makeup in elementary school. :)

What!? Makeup in the 5th grade?? I agree with Yaya...what does your mom think about that?

And I don't see terribly skin...all I see is beautiful clear skin with freckles (which sets you apart from everyone else so why cover it up).

Oh my. 5th grade is too young sweetie. Wear your SPF to protect your skin and nothing else. School is about education, please know that the most beautiful attribute any human being has is an intelligent mind.

:( you're so young to be so caught up in your appearance.

Believe me, skip the foundation and powder for now :) I used to want to wear makeup when I was your age and I'm so glad I didn't. If you really want to do some skin stuff, focus on moisturizing and keep your face clean. You're skin will stay more healthy the less makeup you wear. :)

Do not use makeup it will only irritate and make it worse. Just treat the problem and your skin will get better.

Focus on improving your skin, not covering it up, Hun. But from the looks of it, you have lovely skin! If you really want to experiment with makeup, steer clear of all face makeup and stick with colored lip glosses and curling your eyelashes, if you want. But honestly, especially at your age, makeup shouldn't be the main focus. Look for gentle skincare products that will soothe your skin, and not to be cliché but enjoy being a kid! Play outside, hang out with your friends, have fun! You're a beautiful young girl, and you truly do not need makeup at all.

Omg, you look like seven years old!! What the hell happened to childhood and playing outside and innocence? At your age I was making dens and daisychains...

Sweety focus on your grades and the only make up I approve is ChapStick and sunscreen no more... too young to go for make up at 11-12 years old.

You don't need to wear foundation if any just wear a little mascara! I started wearing mascara in 7th grade.
