What primer works best with:

I recently just purchased Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, I'm having trouble pairing it with the right primer. I have oily skin but I don't have a problem with oil because my moisturizer keeps that at bay. (Dramatically different Gel)
I've used
Loreal magic anti redness primer

Mary Kay's foundation primer sunscreen

Clinique superprimer for discolorations

Baby skin instant pore eraser (only on pores)

Rimmel matte primer

Rimmel fix & perfect primer

None of these wowed me. I like The Clinique one best

But is there a right primer that will make this makeup look any better or last any longer?

I finish with Clinique's invisible blend powder then spray elfs makeup must & set spray.
Maybe I'm just using the wrong brands?

Can you explain what you mean by "having trouble pairing it with the right primer?" Do you mean that the primer doesn't work and last long or does it smudge?

I havent tried the hourglass mineral veil (I believe its called) but I heard its amazing
smashbox photo finish is my absolute favourite
too faced primed and poreless
urban decay setting spray

I would try the Hourglass Veil Mineral primer or the Too Faced Primed & Poreless.
both are mattifying & hide the appearance for pores & fine lines. they also smooth our the akin & makeup very nicely! the Hourglass primer absorbs oil which is great for people with oily skin.

I have the same foundation! It works for me paired with sandbox photofinish light (clear gel) and lancome la base (also a clear gel). That's just from my personal experience with my combo skin. Good luck and keep trying, it's worth it!
