Is it bad if I don't dilute the 100% tea tree oil I put on my face? What will it do if I leave it as is 100%? How do I dilute it down?

It may sting your skin, irritate it or dry it out. I would dilute it with water 1/4 or 1/2 tea tree oil.

I heard it can burn your skin so dilute it with water.

Haha it's funny you mentioned this. I just did that a couple days ago and it burnt/ stung like hell. I know you will definitely need to dilute the tea tree oil. As for the dilution, I honestly don't know. But, if I was going to use this on my face daily I would want it extremely diluted. Otherwise you will mess your skin's ph levels.

You need to dilute because like others are saying it's stings and burns and can dry you out really badly. My friend did not know you had to dilute it and she placed 100% on a pimple and in about 2 minutes it began to burn and sting. She washes it off but there was a big red/dry mark on her forehead and it was sensitive to the touch and it burned when she tried to out makeup over it. I would dilute it to make sure those side effects don't happen to you! The spot went away in a about a week and she had to put som lotion on it!
