I've been using those little make up sponges for my foundation for years, it's what everyone in my family has used.

Some brushes will make lines on your face. You just need the right ones. I recommend Jane Iredale brushes! They are pretty pricey but worth it! If you want a cheaper one then I hear some people like the e.l.f brushes.

Alright, thanks girls!(: I was curious, if I feel the sponge is making me look cakey no matter how little I use, would a brush be better?

Yes, a brush is lighter.
