It's hard to say from your picture and profile picture but it looks like you have olive skin so warm under tones :)

Yes I would say warm although your skin doesn't look olive to me. I thought olive = yellow = cool?

No yellow is a warm undertone (however Mac considers it a cool undertone).
Warm undertones are yellowish, golden colours
Cool undertones are reddish pink colours.

I know they are Yeah everyone always says olive but I dont think I am olive thats why Im asking. Lately Im thinking Im yellow, I have some pics that I didnt post cause if I did everyone would of just simply said yellow because often in my pics the flash makes my skin appear much lighter and yellow .

Well most foundations usually just go by warm, neutral & cool. So all you really have to look for are warm toned foundations. But your skin does look like it leans a little tiny bit towards the olive side, but that's still in the sort of yellow-type family. =]

Ok, Avery. That's why I'm confused because I go with MAC's interpretation of it, which actually makes more sense to me.

Not really though because no one has blue green or purple undertones. So Mac is just confusing people.

I'm definitely not olive skinned but I'm still. Very yellow under toned...a lot of ppl assume warm undertones=tan
Anyways I would say you have yellow undertones...so opt for warm foundations unless you're dealing with Mac

I would say based on the pic you posted which is the colour I go in summer and then I'd use my NW35

you look warm to me. go by what you see on your chest, if you look yellowy or if you look pink. ;) Pink/red would be cool. and yellow would be warm

what Avery says is true, MAC can be confusing because they have it switched. but any other brand will have warm and cool the same.

It's hard for me to tell without looking at your face up close. Do you tan? I'm seeing yellow undertones. Stay away from pinkish tones in foundations. Try makeup forever or urban decay naked foundation. Go into a sephora and have them color match you.

keep in mind that foundation oxedises (sp.?) which means it can get darker as the elements hit it. swatch it on your arm and see if it gets darker after a few mins.
