Straight after I wash my hair I can feel and see how greasy it is. When it dries omg it looks like I haven't washed it for a week so I was wondering if you have any tricks or recommend any products I could get to help. Ps: I don't put conditioner in my roots or touch my hair a lot.

Clarifying shampoo and dry shampoo should help.

Stop using conditioner completely, then slowly introduce it when your hair becomes less greasy. I use Timotei shampoo for greasy hair and it's brilliant.
Also, try a dry shampoo.
Failing all that, maybe go see your doctor. Good luck x

Yes I agree with a clarifying shampoo. Due to hormonal issues, my body produces a lot of oil and within 8-12 hrs, my face, body and hair is oily again. The clarifying shampoo works wonders.

Well I'm just using a cheap brand called VO5 since I'm on a budget but it works as well as any other brand I've tried. I can't think of any specific brands off the top of my head ummm... Try garnier.

I have this same problem!! I would never use conditioner of it! But one day I decided (who knows why) to put conditioner and massage it into my roots! And it held off the grease for a day longer! I do this after I wash my hair TWICE. Someone once told me when you strip all the oils from your hair it causes you head to produce way more then you would ever want!! Hope I helped!

I would start off with a clarifying rinse:
1 cup water
1 tablespoon baking soda
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar.
Mix it in an empty container. When you're in the shower, throw it over your hair and massage your roots as if you were shampooing. Rinse thorougly and follow up with your regular conditioner. The baking soda is too alkaline and can mess with the ph balance of your hair if used too often, but as a one time thing it's perfectly safe and helps a lot.
I'm sure you've heard this before, but shampooing strips your hair of its natural oils. Over time your scalp becomes drier and drier so your body produced more oil to compensate. The only solution is to go longer in between washes.
I have personally never found a dry shampoo that works for me, but even so I can go 3-4 days between washes because I have trained my hair to do so. The first few weeks might be painfully greasy, but it's worth it! Basically, instead of shampooing your hair when you normally would, you massage your roots with your fingertips and rinse your hair well, as if you were shampooing. This will help somewhat with the greasiness. After about 3-5 days, depending on what you can manage, you can wash your hair again. If it looks like a complete mess in between, you can wear a hat, headband, bandana, or do something like a waterfall braid to hide your greasy roots (just be sure to tease your hair first to give it some lift). After a few weeks your hair will stop being as greasy between washes. I also recommend looking into hot oil treatments.

Mine is the same way. I recommend Neutrogena triple repair fortifying shampoo then apply conditioner focus on the ends though. I haven't tried there fortifying conditioner yet but you can try it. I got mine at walmart.

I've recently started using the lush shampoo bar called Jumping Jupiter, it's for hair that gets greasy really fast. My hair used to get greasy after only one day but now I can go 3 days without washing it!
