Any good brush cleaners out there? I heard that using a cleaner instead of soap and water is better for your brushes in the long run. Thanks for the help!

I have the mac brush cleaner and the elf brush cleaner and I love the elf one it cleans just as good as the black one but it's a gel instead of a liquid so you use less product.

I use baby shampoo or a gentle organic shampoo.

I use the sephora brush cleaner. It works pretty good in my opinion and the MAC one works good too. They get the job done and dry quickly when you're not doing deep cleaning.

I use baby shampoo on my brushes (all synthetic), it's cheaper than the MAC or sephora brush cleansers and does the exact same thing and is very gentle. For eyeshadow brush quick cleans so I can switch colours, I use a stippling sponge and it works WONDERS! My brush is always perfectly free of my past colour - even black!

I used Estée Lauder one for a while but I think I got better results using mild shampoo. Brush cleaner is good though if you need to use brushes fast
