There are a lot of brands that are inexpensive and for light skin. The brand you are already using probably has a lighter color.
I can't give you any brand names since I personally don't wear foundation

What is your skin type? what finish do you want? that will help others answer better. I don't wear foundation, so I can't personally help.

As a super pale person, there's tons of foundations that have incredibly pale shades. I've never had in the past year (except for the brands catered to darker skin) a foundation not have a pale enough shade for me. Cover girl, loreal, physicians formula, elf and almay all have incredibly pale shades that will probably be to pale for you.

L'oreal N1 true match foundation is super light. But I don't know. If you only did a facial. You should be matching your foundation to the rest of your body instead of just your face

I agree with Symone; if it was jut the facial that paled you, then the rest of your body would still be tan. Because of this, your face would look odd using such a pale foundation on it compared to the rest of your body. To prevent this; just continue using your current foundation color, even if it doesn't match your face (because it will match the rest of your body). If you still want a pale foundation, l'oreal has some nice ones. (:

I haven't seen you ask this so I agree with Alexis that it maybe didn't show up but just use your regular foundation so it matches your body I self tan sometimes but not my face so my face is pale but my body is tan so I get a foundation to match my body so it doesn't look weird :)

Sarah that's so weird. I wore KVD's 42 and it was a tad too dark on me in the winter when I didn't have a tan. But pretty much every foundation has a shade that matches me. Like I've only had 2 brands not have a shade that was light enough for me, and that's now KVD and the urban decay foundation is too orange to be light enough.

If you want inexpensive foundation, you should consider check out L'Oreal :). They have great foundations

If you used a skin lightening mask the results are only temporary so your skin will darken up sooner than you think. @Jess...you are absolutely beautiful in your pic with tan skin. I wouldn't change a thing. There is a blogger I follow who is Asian and tanned...flat out gorgeous. Don't mess with perfection. ;)

Sarah, not 44, 42. As long as it's cool toned and not warm toned (orange/yellow) almost all brands have a light enough color. Maybe it's your technique of applying them, I know some need to be blended much much more than others and if they're cakier or a thicker formula they can have an apparent line if not blended out, even if it matches your skin color. Like the tarte one if I don't blend in my jawline lots, there's a line where it's a bit thicker and it looks darker but it's just not blended. But that's just a suggestion.
And my sephora has a place for 42 again, they didn't for a while but it's empty currently so I'm pretty sure in September it's coming back.
