So what's the difference between foundation and BB cream? Which is better? I don't know! Haha.

Also I know I have a warm undertone, but I don't know if I have a yellow or whatever color undertone to it when it comes to lipstick colors or foundation. Someone please help me lol :c thanks!

Well, it depends on the coverage you want..bb cream is always lighter coverage (also has more skin benefits) and foundation can vary from light coverage to full coverage.

warm undertones usually have yellow or olive undertones.

It's probably a dumb question but is this foundation? Yeah, right? Lol. I'm trying to find a good one to use.

Also, how do you find out if you have a olive or yellow undertone?

Yes it's a foundation lol :) and I'm not sure, it's usually pretty evident. you can also have a neutral undertone.

Generally people with olive skin are more neutral-warm and have a greenish cast to their skin (versus yellow). Typically people from the Mediterranean area are more olive skinned. People of Asian descent tend to lean more yellow. This is just in general; skin tone expresses differently for every individual.

BB vs. Foundation:
A true BB cream has many benefits in addition to coverage. Often they take the place of primer, foundation, moisturizer, serum, sunscreen, and (depending on the finish) powder. They can include skincare elements such as anti-blemish, whitening (really just means brightening, not bleaching), anti-wrinkle, etc. They range from sheer to full coverage. Shades tend to be generalized to light, medium, and dark, and often only one undertone (either cool or warm). Most BB creams come from Asia (Korea specifically). Most Western "BB creams" are little more than tinted moisturizer.

Foundation has many types and formulations. Hundreds of varieties exist for different needs: different skin types, shades, undertones, special needs (e.g. blemish fighting, hypoallergenic, corrective for medical issues, etc.), and purposes (everyday wear, HD photography, TV and video, waterproof, etc.). Foundation may include skincare ingredients, but typically does not. Foundation works in tandem with other products (moisturizer, primer, powder, setting sprays, bronzers, highlighters, etc.) to achieve a variety of finishes and effects that are highly customizable.
