All of my friends say that I have waited too long of a skin care routine. this is all the stuff that I use. oil free Acne Wash, texturizing eye cream, sunscreen with SPF 50, Proactiv advanced daily oil control wash, deep-sea Purifying Cleanser, regenerating night cream, Clinique Moisture Surge, my eos lip balm, and my makeup remover is the Clinique take the day off.I know it sounds like a lot but I like to keep my skin nice and clean.do you guys think this is overdoing it with my skincare?

No but maybe give your skin a break from all of that once in a while and just wash your face and put on moisturizer (with SPF)

Hmm. I don't know how you manage to use 3 different face wash :).

Yeah 3 seems a bit much...

Do you use all 3 daily? cause that seems to be a bit much..

Are you using all three washes in one routine? That'll really dry your skin out, just stick to one.

Sandy D.
Just use one face wash.

I saw a facial routine on YouTube and there was a mask and like 2 toners and 3 washes...seemed a bit excessive. I would honestly only do the take off the day and another cleanser but that's just me! Sometimes I just use the take off the day and moisturizer!

To add one to what I said, try one face wash, one toner and one moisturizer and exfoliate every so often

You could rotate between the face washes depending on what your skin needs!

I agree with Becky. It seems like that would really dry out your skin even though you're putting moisturizer on after, it's still going to strip all the oil in your skin. I don't know if this is true but I've heard that when you strip natural oils, your body kicks oil production into overdrive to replace it which could lead to some bad breakouts:(

Angela's right, stripping the oil can lead the skin (and the hair if you use a very drying shampoo) to produce more oil and compensate.
Bryanna said it best, stick to one product from each category. And like Grace said rotating the washes is best not using them all at once.

I have 5 different cleansers among a multitude of other skincare products but its all used on a rotating basis. Using three cleansers one after another in one wash...overkill. Its just too much for your skin. Rotate based on how your skin is behaving on a weekly basis with the cleansers.

I think you just need to assess your skin and what it needs.

Not at all I have way more products than you do Hun :P but I like to rotate between cleansers and toners and then there are my weekly masks, etc.so I don't think it's too much but don't rotate too often you should stick to the same routine for at least a few months before changing it up but as long as whatever you are doing is working for you then I think that's fine :)
