What goes on first foundation or concealer?, do you need both? And why is it important to have both if so? Thanks so much haha ❤️

I do before! My mom taught me that way and it works for me. :) everyone has a preference and that's mine!

I put concealer on after foundation because you don't know how much concealer you need to put on until you know how much your foundation covers. It just saves you from putting on too much product and wasting it or it may make your skin look cakey.

Also I do agree with Megan on the two products being the same color for concealing all over the face. You could use a lighter one under your eyes to brighten if you need it though.

Honestly its really up to you. some people prefer before and some prefer after. it's not necessary to have both, it really depends on your skin type. if you think you need extra coverage then I suggest having both but if you some acne spots you can use a bit of your foundation to cover them up. make sure the concealer your using is the same colour as your foundation, if not you can always use it to highlight your face :)

For me it depends on the formula of foundation I'm using. Recently, my favorite foundation has been a Chanel pressed powder, so I use cream concealer on a few blemishes and some under eye brightening concealer, then top with the powder. I prefer doing concealer first for this method because the formulas don't quite work if I do it after the powder. If you're using a bb cream or liquid foundation or anything like that, I would do that first and then conceal because as said earlier, the foundation will do most of the work so you don't know how much concealer you really need. And don't be worried about asking "dumb" questions!! Were all beauty lovers here and totally willing to help a sister out ☺️
