I am going to clean my brushes today, but I was wondering how you clean yours. Maybe I can use some of the techniques you use 😊

I use the Parian Spirits brush wipes :) I love em. They clean like a charm, make my brushes smell great, and aren't time consuming at all.

I use a little bit of dish soap and olive oil on a plate, then I swirl my brushes around until there's no makeup left. Afterwards I rise my brushes and leave them to dry. Works like a charm. 👌

I usually use baby shampoo + some kind of oil (olive oil or almond oil) band the same technique Alexa's uses :)

I use baby shampoo and oil to clean stubborn foundation (eldw) or I would use garnier two in one make up remove as there is an oil in it to help break down the make up :)

I've learned - from both Mrs. Jackie & Alma - that using water & oils to regularly clean your brushes is actually quite bad for them :s you should expose them to water as little as possible. I'd stick with cleansing sprays or wipes. & only deep clean with water once every few weeks or so.

Yeah I've heard that too! I usually alternate the two methods :) I deep clean my brushes maybe once every week and a half.

My absolute favorite brush cleaner is the beauty blender cleaner. It's made special for the beauty blender, but it works great on brushes as well and it gets everything off REALLY quickly. And I have the solid version that lasts FOREVER.

I just use the sephora brush cleaner and spray it on the brushes then swipe the brush onto a paper towel until it comes up clean and that's it for a quick clean - to deep clean I wash them with water and a facial cleanser then lay them out to dry.
