For a shimmer free highlighter, your best bet is a concealer lighter than your skin tone.

You should try the highlighter pen by Mac. I use the lightboost color and the finish is amazing! I put it on my cheekbones, browbones, bridge of the nose, between the brows and you can also put a little on top of your undereye concealer to brighten a little this gorgeous!

MAC highlighter pens I agree, or their "emphasize" shaping powder - I think that is shimmer free! I don't own it though so maybe check swatches first lol. NYX has a dupe of it also :)

I'm assuming you mean a cheek highlight and not an under eye highlight. I really like the wet n wild bronzer in reserve your cabana. It's doesn't have shimmer. It's just gorgeous. Or the baked bronzer in tiki from hard candy. Love that one too

Shimmer and sheen. Two completely different things. If you buy something matte for a cheek highlight (which is what I assumed she meant) it would be pointless. Both of the things I suggested have a sheen to them. But not shimmer. I honestly don't think she's talking about like an under eye highlight or anything along those lines cuz those products wouldn't have shimmer...

I didn't read all the comments, but I sometimes want a shimmer-free highlight and I either use L'oreal magic lumi pen illuminator or (I do this more) I'll use some coconut oil and dab some on the high points of my face lightly, and blend outwards. I use this trick even when my skin looks just a little too made up, maybe with powder or concealer, and it makes it look like it's naked skin!!

The l'oreal magic lumi pen is a dupe for the YSL touche eclat. but I found that I liked the l'oreal better :)

THE NYX HD CONCEALER IS EVERYTHINGGGG FOR HIGHLIGHTING! I've gone through probably 6 tubes now! Even on days I try not to use it I find myself reaching for it. I misinterpreted the question as well and thought you meant like a matte white powder highlight lol.

I don't think it was the way you worded the question at all Em lol I think it was just me taking it incorrectly :) Let me know how you like the NYX! A lot of people say it's similar to the MAC Prolongwear but I find the NYX kinda feels lighter on the skin :)
