Ok so I usually do simple simple liner. Want to try something new, but not outrageous. I attempted winged today. Left came out better than right. What are the right tools to use? What are some new ideas? Oh and I have deep set eyes too. Thanks!!

What kind of liner do you use? Pencil, gel, liquid? So I been doing the winged liner for like 15 years (Christ I'm old!!) and I feel like the easiest thing to use is a liquid liner with a felt tip - it's honestly just like using a marker! I personally prefer to use a gel, because the color is a bit more intense and I feel like it last longer, but it does take some more practice to use a gel and a brush :)

That's not bad Jackie! The wing is more what I would call a straight liner, which I love, but if you want more wing you should flick the end up a bit :)
Also the liner looks a bit patchy which I find is very easy go get when using a pencil! Some people are really good at using pencils but I think it's difficult! With a gel liner you get a more intense look like you can see in the pictures Sarah posted!
As a beginner I still this felt tip liquid liners are the easiest to use :)

I personally started out using tape years ago to get it even on both sides, I use a liquid liner on the top and on the bottom I use a cream mufe aqua cream shadow in black and the combo works amazing. I used the tape until I got comfortable without it (:

A felt tip liquid liner I find is the easiest thing - Wayne goss has a great video for a simple cat eye using this type of liner and it's super easy I use his technique every time and most of the time the wing comes out perfect.
