Purses Or Backpacks

So I will be going into freshmen year and I would like too know what most of you girls have choosen over backpacks or purse I do have a jansport backpack but it got dirty cuz I put food inside and I carried a lot of stuff durning that following year so I've decided to think of a purse for girl reasons but I'm petite and if I have a tote bag it won't look good so if any of you girls in high school have advice it would be helpful too show me pictures of what your purses are that you used and didnt have promblems with (:

Backpack. You will have lots to carry freshman year literally around here calls it the freshman backpack lol plus I don't think purses will hold up with all those books just use a backpack.

I just had my backpack. whenever it was that time of the month or I brought makeup or something I'd also bring a small cross body purse to put those things in.

I like to use both depending on my outfit. On lazy days I'd use my backpack and regular days is go with a purse with a reasonable size to fit folders and everything I needed, hope this helps 😊

I'm going to be a senior, and I honestly think a purse is more convenient. With backpacks, you have to put them under your desk so they're not in the pathway between desks. My school has baskets under the desks for books and binders. It's a lot easier for me and I don't have to rummage through the back pack everytime I need something

I like backpacks a lot better because with a purse you have all the weight on one shoulder and it hurts a lot after a while.

A purse, I wouldn't want to carry around a backpack all day.. You could use a tote bag though they're nice but I think it's best to just carry your books and wear a purse over your shoulder.. That's what I do 😁

You could use both.! when you need to carry books around then use the backpack and on days when you don't need to carry books around you could use a purse and like diana said a decent size :) when I was in hs I would do that because we never had to carry the books around ALL the time..

I like to have a smallish cross body purse to carry like gum, my phone and head phones and charger, my keys, pads/tampons, wallet, a little snack, etc.
and then also having a backpack for all my books and all the school stuff.
Pulse if you have a cross body purse then you can easily drop off your backpack at like your house or car and then go hang out with friends.

Backpack for sure but you could always put it in a locker take the stuff you need for 2-3 classes I don't know how your school is but then you could take a shoulder purse :) just an idea lol.

Heavy backpacks can also lead to back problems :/ like mine did I always use to carry a heavy backpack with my books an stuff now I have really bad 24/7 back pain ugh

I'm in going to 11th. and usually just use the cute like purse tote things ( like from hollister ) honestly you don't carry that many books. Just your everyday binder or the binder you need for that day & you could stop by your locker after lunch or on your way to class.. to me I don't think carrying a book bag all the time is needed..

Honestly I can't be comfortable with backpack it is so annoying to reach your little pockets when you need to reach your wallet or lipstick.purse is much more convenient in my opinion just prefer a big one.

Honestly, I used both. a tote for classes (draw strings are too tiny for anything) and a back pack for carrying stuff home.
