I love mine.. Makes me wonder if were all talking about the same brushes lol because mine are super soft and apply my blush and bronzer beautifully!

I love them! They are super soft and were always very dense. When I had them I used a lot less product as the bristles aren't real hair so I felt the bristles didn't adsorb much product. Hair is actually fairly absorbent and people actually donate it to help absorb oil from oil spills and such. I felt like the bristles grabbed the pigment and put it on the skin.
The little kabuki brush I had was impressive since I'd just tap it on my studio fix and it was able to tone down a lot of shine. Didn't have to use much at all compared to my other powder brushes
