Its basically when most of/all of your eyelid is covered by more skin if that makes sense, I'll try to find a good picture :p but like any eyeshape they're all going to be slightly different.

You can't really see the eyelid and you do have to bring your crease color higher like Jocelyn said:)

Ugh thanks everyone and Diana I wish I didn't have it, it's so hard to put on makeup! Especially eyeliner.

I gave up on winged eyeliner. I have to wing it so far out on the side of my face to go around the hood that it just looks drag queen to me. I also tight line my upper lashes but don't line my upper lid. Wayne Goss trick.

Tight line upper waterline, and don't line the upper lid. I think I got my terms mixed up.

I love winged liner on hooded eyes but yes it looks best when you do everything past your natural crease line so you can see it when you open your eyes - also with hooded eyes you always want your liner to be thinner than normal so it doesn't overpower the lid space that is so limited to begin with but when you do a wing it usually looks better a little thicker - not sure if that makes sense but you can check out some of my looks or Michelle Phan does great tutorials for hooded/Asian eye looks.
