Maybe try adjusting the way you're applying the foundation. I find 'buffing" in circles with a brush, like I did when I got my Sigma F80 really lifts up all the hair and make them noticeable. I saw in a youtube tutorial to make sure your last stroke is downwards to flatten them.

If pores are your problem, id reccomend using a primer. Also Rimmel Clean Finish is nice.
