I wouldn't go for anything drug store, they aren't the best quality products.
And for oily skin, you need an oil free moisturizer. Clinique and Lancôme has some really great ones.

The reason why drugstore cleansers do not work is because the actual "active ingredients" (what will actually heal your skin) are so minimal that you could wash your face 50 times a day and nothing would work for you.
If your skin is not responding to commercial acne products, I would reccomend seeing a dermotologist OR an esthetician who can diagnose your skin condition and treat it with the right products. (specialized facial)
With products from a dermatologist you are guaranteed to have more medicinal content in your facial cleansers and serums. When you are at your consult also remember to ask for take home products, they will cost a bit more then they do in a drug store but well worth it because they do what they are meant to do...
most commercial products just completely dry out your skin to get rid of the pimples ( what causes pimples is excess oils) so these products dry out your skin like you wouldn't believe. Don't ever get rid of your natural oils just reduce them. The natural oils are what keep your skin soft and supple.

And most moisturizers contain an intense amount of oils and perfumes which again, do the complete opposite of what they are supposed to.

I had luck with cleansers and products from the drugstore so that isn't to say for everyone.

Jojoba oil is drugstore too. Works for me.

So saying they DO NOT WORK isn't a good thing because not everyone is going to have that.

By the way my mom is a nurse in an office that works with skin as well as health and she even says some drugstore works depending on ingredients.

I was just putting the facts out there, after years of having a mother who works for all natural good quality and who does research and demonstrations of drugstore products you kind of learn about them overtime and realize how ineffective the are. But if they work for you then that's great,

I use the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel which is great! And for night time I use jojoba oil which I think has actually even made my oily skin less oily!

I think it doesn't matter if its drugstore or high end, as long as it works for you then who cares right? everyone has different skin types and whatever works for me not work for everyone else, it depends.

I'd say use neutragena. it really helped me.
There are good products and there are shitty ones.
I think the most important thing is not WHERE you got it from but WHAT is in the product itself.
