Does anyone have any recommendations for sunscreen for sensitive skin? I've used the neutragena one that's made for your face but it made me oily and broke me out. I've tried some others from whole foods thinking they'd be more gentle but they also make me break out. I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin. Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much! I'll have to pick some up to try! Fingers crossed!

As a sunscreen company we'd of course recommend our products but for any brand consider a mineral (as opposed to chemical) sunscreen. Mineral sunscreens are generally considered less skin irritating but of course, one could have a reaction to any ingredient.

To tell, look at a sunscreen's "Active Ingredients". If anything is listed there other than zinc and/or titanium then it is a chemical sunscreen. Or at least part chemical as some sunscreens mix chemical and mineral Active Ingredients. I checked Solbar and it looks like they use two chemical UV blockers (OctylMethoxycinnamate, Homosalate ) in addition to zinc. This is not to say it will definitely bother your skin. It may work great. Just to say if it does bother your skin, you might want to consider a 100% mineral sunscreen.

One thing to note. All sunscreen's also have "Inactive Ingredients" and something in these could cause irritation too. It's harder to say what to avoid here as there are too many possible inactive ingredients. Generally you want to avoid parabens, phthalates and added fragrances.
