I suggest making the area around the gash more matte and blending the edges a bit! But very impressive!

Maybe spread a little blood outside the wound and cover the edges of the toilet paper with the glue so it blends better.

On the outside of the blood ( if that makes sense) & one the outer corners since that would be where the blood would of coagulated

Looks great:) I agree with all the ladies blend out the edges a little more and spread the blood out a little more:)
