MAC VS Chanel

So I currently use a lot of MAC and I love it! But I've heard Chanel is also a very good brand for makeup. Which one is the best for you? Pros and Cons? Any other brands that are very good?

If I had to pick between the two I would go for MAC. I just had too many misses with Chanel. Though I do love their fragrances and lippies.

I prefer MAC because it is more accessible and cost less than Chanel. Plus MAC has more variety. I love both but since Chanel is so expensive, it's really hard to just experiment without knowing exactly what works for you.

It depends what you want to achieve. Chanel is classy elegant colors for grown up Makeup. You will mostly have less of pigmentation in the products. Mac is more fun ,vibrant colors.

I prefer make up forever just because of the consistency but this is just my opinion. If I had to choose between either, I say Chanel. I don't adore the pigments from MAC or the finish but then again, Chanel isn't really worth the price. I own more MAC than Chanel but I still rather Make up forever, it's just a matter of taste :)

I used to use a Chanel foundation until it was discontinued and now I use MAC. Without a doubt the Chanel foundation was a million times better. When it comes to eyeshadow though MAC wins. I'm not a fan of Chanel eyeshadows, I don't find then to be very pigmented.

I love Mac. The perfumes Chanel puts in their products make me sneeze, so I can't actually say anything good or bad about the products themselves other than I seem to be allergic to the perfume they use.
