How to lighten foundation.

I bought the Kat Von D lock-it tattoo liquid foundation over the summer and I loved it! Now that it's fall, I'm not as tan as I used to be and it's too dark for my skin tone now by a shade. How can lighten up my foundation a shade or two? I heard mixing foundation with moisturizer will lighten it but I don't know what to do.

You could either mix it with your moisturizer, or mix it with a liquid concealer that's a few shades lighter.

I had two foundations at one point- one too dark and the other too light. I used one part dark and two parts light to get the perfect shade. Nothing wrong with mixing foundations!! :)

When mines too dark I mix it with moisturizer. I just add a dab into the foundation and mix it and add moisturizer until the shade looks right.
