First attempt at some mermaid makeup, thoughts please!

Never done full mermaid makeup so I thought I'd post my first attempt and see what ya'll think. I didn't go down onto my neck and chest since I'm not wearing it anywhere.
Eyes-
Maybelline 24 hour color tattoo cream eyeshadow in the color "Painted purple" in the crease
Dark and medium blues from the Elf's little black book of beauty in chic
The eyeliner is rimmel's kohl kajal liner
Mascara is Lancôme's Hypnose star
Face-
Contour is the dark navy also from the Elf palette as are all the blue scales. I used fishnet for the pattern.
The white scales are Urban Decay eye shadow in polyester bride
The base is cheap blue white and green cream makeup from Walmart.
Lips-
Jordana lip liner in Tawny and Urban Decay eye liner in Riot on the outer corners

Thank you both :) Kiara, yeah that's my personal style showing through in my mermaid self but I agree for most mermaids they really should be softer. Thank you very much for the thoughts :)

I really love how you did a darker look on the eyes. More of a sultry, alluring mermaid (which is fitting consider most mythology, mermaids/sirens lured sailors). So yeah, very refreshing look compared to most "disney mermaids"
