Hey so for Halloween I am debating between two costumes and one of the costumes requires me to temporarily dye my hair red (I will not be able to use a wig) and I was wondering what I could do to minimize damage when dying it. Is there a chemical I can avoid or a certain way to do it? Thanks so much.

I agree that hair color sprays are made to wash out and give bright color, if you prep your hair first! Before using those sprays (which won't damage, but can't leave a tint- anything could) so condition your hair well, don't rinse it all out, and then coat your strands with a leave in conditioner or use an oil or any heat protectant spray. These will safely coat your locks so you can color them, and then get the color back OUT! 😜
